Akshay Kumar Calls Housewives Superstars of the Home, Expresses Desire to Make Film on Their Lives

Actor Akshay Kumar, known for delivering films across genres, has expressed his intention to make a film centered on housewives. The announcement was made on the set of his quiz reality show Wheel of Fortune.

Honouring homemakers, Akshay referred to them as the “superstars of the home.” As the host of the show, he shared his vision while interacting with contestants Ankita, Pooja, and Divya from another reality show, Tum Ho Na.

Speaking about his idea, Akshay said, “I have been trying for a long time to make a film based on women, where the entire world revolves around them. I already have a complete script ready and am just waiting for someone to come forward to produce the film.”

The actor emphasized that he wants to highlight the often-overlooked efforts of women who manage households and bring their stories to the big screen. While the script is ready, no official announcement has yet been made regarding the production or direction of the project.

He further expressed his desire to showcase the strength, resilience, and everyday lives of homemakers through the film. Interestingly, the journeys of contestants on “Tum Ho Na” reflect similar themes that Akshay aims to portray in his project, drawing appreciation from those present on the set.

Akshay Kumar has also been actively involved in television. Following the success of the first season of “Wheel of Fortune,” he is currently hosting its second season, which continues to receive a positive response from viewers.
