Rupali Ganguly has won hearts on social media after sharing a compassionate video of herself offering water to thirsty monkeys on the set of Anupamaa.
The actress used the opportunity to spread awareness about helping animals during the scorching summer season.
Rupali’s Message for Fans
Sharing the video on Instagram, Rupali wrote:
“Kindness costs nothing, but its value is immense. I request everyone to please keep a bowl of water outside your homes for speechless animals during this heat.”
In the video, the actress can be seen patiently giving water to monkeys one by one using a bottle.
“Their Thirst Was More Important”
Rupali Ganguly also clarified that she helped the animals only after completing her shoot, so that work on set was not affected.
She mentioned:
“Some people on the set were calling me repeatedly, but for me, quenching the thirst of these voiceless animals was more important. Our work was completed ahead of time, so I got a chance to do this.”
Rajan Shahi Appreciated the Gesture
Rupali revealed that she sent the video to producer Rajan Shahi, who appreciated the initiative and said:
“These lovely animals should always be taken care of first.”
The actress also praised her production house and team for promoting kindness and humanity through their work.
