Jaipur: Teenage sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi continues to rewrite record books in IPL 2026. The 15-year-old opener for Rajasthan Royals smashed a blistering century in just 36 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad, registering the third-fastest hundred in IPL history.

Among the Fastest in IPL History

The fastest century in IPL history still belongs to Chris Gayle, who reached the milestone in just 30 balls for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Pune Warriors India in 2013.

Interestingly, Suryavanshi already holds another remarkable feat — he scored a 35-ball century in 2025, making him one of the quickest centurions in the league. Players like Yusuf Pathan and Heinrich Klaasen have also recorded centuries in 37 balls.

Playing at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Suryavanshi scored 103 runs off just 37 balls, smashing 12 sixes and 5 fours.
