Barabanki
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday said that the Babri mosque structure would not be reconstructed even till the Day of Judgement. Addressing a public gathering in Barabanki, the Chief Minister said that the “double-engine government” under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivers exactly what it promises.
CM Yogi stated that they had pledged to build the Ram Temple at the birthplace of Lord Ram, and that promise has been fulfilled with the completion of the temple’s construction. “Therefore, we are saying with full confidence that the Babri structure will not be reconstructed even till doomsday. Those who are dreaming of doomsday will wither away like rotten wood, because that day is never going to come,” he said.
Referring to the history of Ayodhya, the Chief Minister said that after a wait of nearly 500 years, the nation has finally witnessed this glorious moment. He pointed out that many kings, rulers, and governments came and went over the centuries. Even after India gained independence in 1947 and the formation of the first elected government in 1952, no one initiated the construction of a Ram Temple at Lord Ram’s birthplace. “Today, they say Ram belongs to them as well, and we also say that Ram belongs to everyone,” he added.
CM Yogi further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Ayodhya on November 25 and hoisted a grand saffron flag at the Shri Ram Temple, a symbol of Sanatan tradition. He said the saffron flag would continue to represent and promote India’s pride and cultural heritage.
He emphasized that India and Sanatan Dharma are not separate entities but are complementary to each other. Warning about global attacks on Sanatan values, he urged people to remain vigilant. “Those who do not want India to progress are conspiring against the nation. Some people are falling prey to these conspiracies, while others are selling themselves for such activities. We must stay alert against all such negative forces,” he said.
