Mumbai

Amid growing discussions on social media regarding Varun Dhawan’s upcoming film “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai”, Bollywood production company Tips Industries has issued an official clarification, stating that the film is completely original and not inspired by any other project.

The film has recently been the subject of multiple online speculations. In response, Tips Industries released a public notice on Instagram on Saturday morning addressing the controversy.

In its statement, the company said that several discussions have been circulating within the film industry and among the general public regarding the movie. Producer Ramesh Taurani, director David Dhawan, and the entire team clarified that the story and screenplay of the film are entirely new and original, with no connection to or copying from any other film or project.

The company further added that the entire team has worked hard with dedication to create a family entertainer designed for audiences. It also appealed to viewers to watch the film in cinemas on June 5, stating that the team is excited to welcome audiences and hopes the film will be well received.

This clarification comes at a time when a legal dispute between Tips Music Limited and Pooja Entertainment is also in the spotlight. Pooja Entertainment, owned by producer Vashu Bhagnani, has reportedly filed a case in a Bihar court alleging unauthorized use of its films, songs, and copyrighted content for commercial gain.

Following these allegations, Tips Music Limited also issued a response stating that it is aware of the case filed in the Civil Judge Court in Katihar, Bihar, and is currently awaiting an official copy of the court order.

The company maintained that it holds complete legal rights over the disputed music assets and emphasized that valid agreements exist between both parties. It further stated that it has been using these rights legally for nearly 30 years and rejected the allegations, calling them false and damaging to its reputation.
