Rubina Dilaik Praises Neetu Kapoor Comeback; Calls It Inspiring for Women

Television actress Rubina Dilaik has expressed admiration for Neetu Kapoor’s return to films, stating that she deeply relates to her journey as a woman, mother, and working professional.

In a conversation with IANS, Rubina praised Neetu Kapoor’s courage and resilience, calling her an embodiment of beauty and strength. “I completely relate to Neetu Kapoor. She is truly an example of grace and power, something we have witnessed for years,” she said.

Neetu Kapoor made her comeback to the film industry decades after stepping away, following the demise of her husband Rishi Kapoor. Reacting to this, Rubina said that women should take inspiration from such journeys and step forward with confidence.

She emphasized that women must create examples for others who hesitate to return to work after motherhood or life changes. “Women should come forward like this and pave the way for others who are still unsure whether they should return to work after becoming mothers or facing life transitions,” she added.

Rubina also referred to Neetu Kapoor’s statement that her comeback was not just about work but also about testing her confidence and courage after a long gap. She described this perspective as deeply motivating.

Speaking about her personal life, Rubina praised her husband Abhinav Shukla for supporting her career. She shared that he is currently taking care of their children at home, allowing her to pursue her professional dreams.

“For a man to set aside his ego and say, ‘I will stay home, you go and fulfill your dreams,’ requires immense courage,” she said, adding that Abhinav understands her passion for work.

The actress further said that they are challenging traditional societal norms and stereotypes. “We want to give our daughters a different value system. When people say men and women should behave in certain ways, we believe it’s time to break those barriers,” she noted.

Rubina stressed that maintaining mutual support in a relationship is not easy, but it is essential to keep trying. She added that this, according to her, defines true strength in a man.

Rubina Dilaik is set to appear next in the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi.
