Fadnavis Extends Birthday Wishes to ‘True Bharat Ratna’ Sachin Tendulkar on His 53rd Birthday

Former India captain and one of the greatest icons in the history of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, is celebrating his 53rd birthday on Thursday. Devendra Fadnavis extended his heartfelt wishes to the legendary cricketer on the occasion.

Taking to his official X account, Fadnavis wrote, “Heartfelt birthday wishes to India’s pride, a true Bharat Ratna, and the Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar. Your dedication and humility are a great source of inspiration.”

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting also greeted Tendulkar by sharing a video on social media. The caption read, “Birthday greetings to the ‘Master Blaster’ Sachin Tendulkar, the greatest batsman of all time.” The video featured a compilation of some of the finest innings from his illustrious career.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also extended its wishes, stating, “Warm birthday wishes to legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, a member of India’s 2011 ODI World Cup-winning team.”

Similarly, the Mumbai Cricket Association lauded Tendulkar’s remarkable journey. In its post on X, the MCA wrote, “Many happy returns of the day to Sachin Tendulkar. From making his debut for Mumbai at just 15 to becoming the highest run-scorer in international cricket, his journey is unparalleled. As the first cricketer to score 100 international centuries, he remains a true icon of the sport, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations.”

IPL franchise Mumbai Indians also wished Tendulkar on his birthday. The team shared a picture of him cutting a cake and wrote, “The little boy who became the heartbeat of every cricket lover. Happy Birthday, Sachin Tendulkar.”

Notably, Tendulkar represented Mumbai Indians during his IPL career and has been associated with the franchise as a mentor since his retirement.

Sachin Tendulkar was born on April 24, 1973, in Mumbai.
