Jaipur — Amid the excitement of Indian Premier League 2026, a truly grand and royal spectacle unfolded in the Pink City of Jaipur on Monday night. Players of Rajasthan Royals enjoyed a lavish “Royal Dinner” hosted at the historic City Palace. Organized under the hospitality of Jaipur’s former royal family, the special evening was attended by captain Riyan Parag, mystery spinner Ravi Bishnoi, star pacer Jofra Archer, young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi, along with several other key players and members of the team management.

Amid tight security arrangements, the entire Rajasthan Royals squad arrived at the City Palace in two luxury buses. A huge crowd of cricket fans and tourists gathered outside the palace to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi Wins Hearts with a Sweet Gesture

As the players were heading toward the buses for the royal dinner, fans could be heard cheering loudly for their favorite cricketers. During this moment, Vaibhav Suryavanshi noticed a little girl standing among the crowd. Showing remarkable humility and warmth, the young cricketer walked up to the child, shook hands with her, and interacted briefly. His heartwarming gesture instantly won the admiration of everyone present there.

Grand Traditional Welcome by Royal Family Members

Recently returned from an overseas tour, Maharaja Padmanabh Singh and Princess Gauravi Kumari welcomed the Rajasthan Royals team in a traditional Rajasthani style. Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari was also present at the City Palace and personally greeted the players.

The dinner was hosted at the palace’s famous “Sarvato” restaurant, where players were treated to an elaborate spread of traditional Rajasthani and multi-cuisine dishes. Both Indian and overseas players enjoyed iconic local delicacies such as Dal Baati Churma, Gatte Ki Sabzi, and traditional Rajasthani sweets.

Players Enjoy Kalbelia Dance Performance

The royal evening also gave the players an opportunity to experience Rajasthan’s rich folk culture up close. Folk artists delivered colorful performances in the palace courtyard, with the famous Kalbelia dance particularly impressing the foreign players, who were seen applauding enthusiastically.

After dinner, the players also explored the palace’s historical artworks and stunning architecture with the help of guides.

Why Ravindra Jadeja Was Absent

Star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja could not attend the royal gathering. He had reportedly flown to Uttar Pradesh earlier on Monday morning for personal work. Although Jadeja returned to Jaipur late at night, the dinner event had already concluded by then.
