Akshay Kumar Remembers Asrani, Calls Working with Him ‘A Masterclass Every Time’

Actor Akshay Kumar, who is gearing up for his upcoming film Bhoot Bangla, paid an emotional tribute to veteran actor Asrani, recalling their long professional journey together.

Sharing a black-and-white picture from the sets of Bhoot Bangla on social media, Akshay reflected on his experiences with the late actor. In the image, both actors are seen sitting and reading, capturing a quiet moment during the shoot.

In his heartfelt caption, Akshay wrote that sometimes a photograph is more than just a memory—it represents an entire journey. He revealed that Bhoot Bangla was his second and final film with Asrani, making the project deeply emotional for him.

The actor shared that he had worked with Asrani in a total of 12 films and described each collaboration as a learning experience. “Every time felt like a masterclass,” he noted, highlighting the immense knowledge and skill he gained from the veteran performer.

Speaking about Asrani’s talent, Akshay praised his exceptional comic timing, stating that while his performances appeared effortless on screen, making people laugh is a difficult art that only a few can master. He described Asrani as a true maestro of comedy whose place in the industry is irreplaceable.

Calling Bhoot Bangla more than just a film, Akshay said it is an emotional experience and a tribute to Asrani. He added that the project serves as a memory, a mark of respect, and a heartfelt homage to the late actor’s legacy.

Asrani passed away in October 2025 at the age of 84, but his contribution to Indian cinema continues to live on in the hearts of audiences.
