The Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the Class 12 board examination results for 2026, with the Trivandrum region emerging as the top performer in the country.
According to CBSE, the Trivandrum region recorded the highest pass percentage of 95.62%, securing the first position nationwide. The Chennai region followed with 93.84%, while Bengaluru ranked third with a pass percentage of 93.19%. Vijayawada reported 92.77%, while Delhi West recorded 92.34% and Delhi East 91.73%.
Among other regions, Ahmedabad registered a pass percentage of 90.60%, Gurugram 88.45%, Ludhiana 87.92%, and Pune 87.32%. The lowest performance was recorded in the Prayagraj region at 72.43%, followed by Patna at 74.45%.
Along with the results, CBSE has also released key information regarding digital documents and online services for students. The board clarified that students can easily access their results and certificates through digital platforms.
Students can download their marksheets, passing certificates, migration certificates, and skill certificates using the DigiLocker mobile application, available on the Google Play Store. Additionally, results can also be accessed through the UMANG app.
CBSE further stated that digital academic documents have been made available immediately after the result declaration through its digital repository ‘Parinam Manjusha’. This includes marksheets, certificates, migration documents, and skill certificates.
For students studying abroad, digital documents will be shared via email through the CBSE DigiLocker platform, while printed marksheets and certificates will be dispatched through their respective schools. Private candidates will also receive their digital documents via DigiLocker using their Aadhaar details.
Except for Delhi East and Delhi West regional offices, printed documents for other students will be sent to the addresses mentioned in their examination forms. Students from Delhi East and West will need to collect their documents from their respective examination centres.
CBSE also informed that the process for improvement exams and compartment category students will begin from June 2, 2026. A detailed circular will be issued soon, and the entire process will be conducted online.
The board emphasized that no changes in name or subjects will be accepted after the submission of the online list. Schools and students have been advised to strictly adhere to the given deadlines, as no applications will be entertained after the last date.
