Nora Fatehi to Perform at Opening Ceremony of FIFA World Cup 2026 in Canada

Bollywood dancer and global performer Nora Fatehi is set to represent India on one of the world’s biggest stages as she prepares to perform and sing at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The grand opening ceremony will take place on June 12 at BMO Field in Toronto. Nora’s participation in the global football event is being seen as a proud moment for the Indian entertainment industry.

Several internationally acclaimed artists are also expected to perform alongside Nora at the Canadian opening ceremony. The lineup includes Michael Bublé, Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara, Jessie Reyez, Vegedream and William Prince among others.

Meanwhile, the opening celebrations in the United States are expected to feature global stars such as Katy Perry, Anitta, Future, Lisa, Rema and Tyla.

According to FIFA, the Canadian opening ceremony will showcase the country’s culture, diversity, and traditions through special performances and visual presentations. Organizers say the event will symbolize unity, excitement, and cultural identity while welcoming football fans from around the world.

Gianni Infantino said the ceremony in Toronto would reflect Canada’s spirit and passion for football through music, culture, and world-class performances.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 will feature 104 matches across 16 host cities. The tournament will begin on June 11 in Mexico City, while the final will be played on July 19 in New York–New Jersey.
