Wave of Celebration in the Film Industry as Vijay Becomes Chief Minister; Kamal Haasan, Pawan Kalyan and Others Extend Congratulations

Tamil cinema superstar Vijay took oath as the new Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Soon after his swearing-in ceremony, congratulatory messages flooded social media. Several prominent personalities from the film industry extended their wishes to Vijay and expressed hope for a brighter future for Tamil Nadu under his leadership. While some called him a “Wonderman,” others described his political journey as the beginning of a new era.

Actor and politician Kamal Haasan wrote on X, “Under the leadership of TVK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister my brother Vijay, may the state continue to shine and achieve greater heights.”

Actor Prakash Raj also congratulated Vijay on becoming Chief Minister. In his X post, he wrote, “Heartfelt congratulations to Chief Minister Vijay. Wishing you great success in your new responsibility. Tamil Nadu will become even more prosperous and stronger under your leadership.”

Prakash Raj’s post has now become a major topic of discussion because he had openly supported Vijay during the elections. When Vijay was reportedly not being given an opportunity to form the government, Prakash Raj had questioned the situation and stated that the people’s mandate should be respected. Following Vijay’s appointment as Chief Minister, supporters are once again recalling those statements.

Actress Pooja Hegde also congratulated Vijay in a special way by sharing a picture from the swearing-in ceremony, where Vijay was seen taking oath as Chief Minister. Sharing the image, she wrote, “Chief Minister Vijay sir, congratulations on your new journey.”

Renowned filmmaker A. R. Murugadoss described Vijay’s political rise as “the beginning of a new century” in his X post.

Popular music composer Santhosh Narayanan also shared a widely discussed post. He wrote, “Heartfelt congratulations to Chief Minister Vijay. This is an opportunity for new thinking and a fresh beginning for Tamil Nadu. For the first time, millions of ordinary people seem genuinely excited to participate actively in politics. This is a historic transformation. Under Vijay’s leadership, the future of the state looks bright.”

Actor and Trinamool Congress MP Shatrughan Sinha also congratulated Vijay on X, writing, “Heartiest congratulations to Vijay on taking oath as the honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. You truly deserve this. My best wishes to you and your team for a successful tenure. God bless. Jai Hind.”
