Wedding Festivities Begin! Maheep Kapoor Shares Glimpses from Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar’s Pre-Wedding Celebrations

The wedding celebrations of producer Anshula Kapoor and her fiancé Rohan Thakkar have officially begun. Ahead of the big day, Anshula’s aunt, Maheep Kapoor, shared a series of photos and videos from the pre-wedding festivities on social media.

Sharing glimpses from the celebrations, Maheep captioned her post, “Wedding Begins. Jai Mata Di, Anshula & Rohan.” The visuals appeared to be from a traditional Mata Ki Chowki ceremony, marking the start of the couple’s wedding festivities.

The intimate celebration was attended by several members of the Kapoor family and close friends. The pictures featured Anshula Kapoor alongside her brother Arjun Kapoor, cousins Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, and Shanaya Kapoor, as well as Sanjay Kapoor and other family members. However, Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor were not seen in the pictures.

For the ceremony, Anshula wore a heavily embellished golden outfit paired with a vibrant multi-coloured phulkari-style dupatta. Shanaya opted for an elegant ivory kurta set with a mint-green dupatta, while Janhvi looked stunning in a bright pink saree. Arjun Kapoor kept it traditional in a maroon striped kurta, and Sanjay Kapoor was seen in a classic white kurta-pyjama.

The videos shared by Maheep captured Anshula and Rohan participating in religious rituals, offering prayers, performing aarti, and seeking blessings from elders in front of Goddess Durga’s idol and portrait. Other clips showed family members dancing and celebrating the joyous occasion, while Anshula also posed with her cousins and close friends.

According to reports, Anshula and Rohan are expected to tie the knot in the first week of July. Over the past few weeks, Anshula has been busy with wedding preparations and bridal shopping, often accompanied by her brother Arjun Kapoor. She also recently celebrated her bachelorette party with close friends and cousins, sharing pictures and videos from the festivities on social media.

Reports further suggest that the couple had earlier hosted an intimate pre-wedding function in a traditional Godh Dhana style ceremony with family members after Rohan proposed to Anshula during a trip in 2025.
