Sara Ali Khan Shares Special Theatre Moment With Sharmila Tagore and Amrita Singh, Calls Them My OG Legends

Mumbai:

Actress Sara Ali Khan treated her fans to a heartwarming family moment on Sunday by sharing a photo collage featuring her grandmother Sharmila Tagore and mother Amrita Singh.

Taking to social media, Sara posted two selfies from a theatre outing. In one picture, she was seen sitting alongside her grandmother Sharmila Tagore, while the other featured her posing with her mother Amrita Singh.

The trio reportedly enjoyed a theatre play together and later indulged in ice cream, making it a memorable family outing. Sharing the pictures, Sara captioned the post, “Theatre time with my OG legends. The play was good, but the best actors were sitting right beside me.”

The photos also caught attention as they featured a rare public moment between Sharmila Tagore and her former daughter-in-law Amrita Singh. Dressed in elegant white outfits, all three looked graceful as they posed inside the auditorium.

For the unversed, Amrita Singh married Saif Ali Khan in 1991. Saif is the son of Sharmila Tagore and late cricket legend Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. At the time of their marriage, Amrita was already an established Bollywood star, while Saif was just beginning his journey in the film industry.

After nearly 13 years of marriage, Saif and Amrita divorced in 2004. They have two children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan.

Saif later married Kareena Kapoor Khan in 2012. The couple are parents to two sons, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan.

Sara and Ibrahim are often seen spending quality time with Saif, Kareena, Taimur and Jehangir during family vacations, festivals and special occasions. Over the years, Sharmila Tagore has also publicly praised Amrita Singh for raising Sara and Ibrahim with great care and values.
