Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday and personally invited him to the wedding of his son Arjun Tendulkar and Sania Chandok. Sachin shared this information through a post on social media platform X.

In his post, Tendulkar wrote that it was an honour for the family to invite the Prime Minister to the wedding. He also thanked PM Modi for blessing the young couple.

Along with his family, Sachin Tendulkar also met President Droupadi Murmu, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, inviting all of them to attend the wedding ceremony.

The wedding of Arjun Tendulkar and Sania Chandok is scheduled to take place on March 5 in Mumbai. The couple got engaged in August 2025. Sania Chandok is the granddaughter of Gravis Group Chairman Ravi Ghai and a close friend of Arjun’s sister, Sara Tendulkar.

Despite belonging to a well-known business family, Sania prefers to stay away from the limelight. She is a partner and director at Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store LLP in Mumbai, a small venture providing pet skincare, grooming, and related services. She started the business in 2022 with an initial investment of ₹1 lakh.

Meanwhile, Arjun Tendulkar will be seen playing for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2026. He was traded from Mumbai Indians ahead of the mini-auction. Arjun has taken three wickets in five IPL matches so far and has also represented Goa in domestic cricket after making his debut for Mumbai in 2021.
