Hyderabad: Sunrisers Hyderabad moved to the top of the Indian Premier League points table after defeating Punjab Kings on Wednesday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.

With this victory, SRH overtook Punjab Kings and secured the No.1 spot in the standings.

SRH Beat Punjab Kings by 33 Runs

Batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a massive total of 235/4 in 20 overs. In reply, Punjab Kings could only manage 202/7, falling short by 33 runs.

The win further strengthened SRH’s position as one of the strongest teams of the season.
