Neetu Kapoor Remembers Khel Khel Mein’ Era on Films 51st Anniversary, Shares Romantic Throwback with Rishi Kapoor

Classic Hindi cinema film “Khel Khel Mein” (1975), which continues to hold a special place in the hearts of audiences, has completed 51 years since its release.

On the occasion, actress Neetu Kapoor revisited old memories and shared a nostalgic post featuring a romantic throwback with late actor Rishi Kapoor.

Taking to Instagram, Neetu Kapoor posted an old poster of the film “Khel Khel Mein”, in which she and Rishi Kapoor are seen in a romantic pose. In the image, Neetu is seen placing a finger on Rishi Kapoor’s lips while looking at him affectionately, capturing a moment filled with innocence and charm.

Along with the picture, she wrote a short caption marking the milestone. She mentioned that the film completed 51 years and was originally released on May 16, 1975.

Directed by Ravi Tandon, the film went on to become one of the most loved films of its time. It was based on the lives of college students and youth culture.

The music of the film was composed by legendary music director R.D. Burman. Songs like “Khullam Khulla Pyar Karenge”, “Ek Main Aur Ek Tu”, “Humne Tumko Dekha”, and “Aye Lo Pyar Ke Din” remain popular even today and continue to be enjoyed by audiences across generations.

The on-screen pairing of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor was widely loved by fans. The couple later tied the knot in real life on January 22, 1980.

After marriage, Neetu Kapoor took a break from films to focus on her family. The couple has two children, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and actor Ranbir Kapoor.
