Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty celebrated her mother Sunanda Shetty’s 72nd birthday by sharing a series of heartwarming photographs on social media and reminiscing about cherished memories from the past. The actress described her mother as her biggest blessing, toughest critic, best friend and soulmate.

Shilpa posted several pictures featuring her mother, husband Raj Kundra, sister Shamita Shetty, and her children. The photo album also included throwback images from Sunanda Shetty’s younger days.

Sharing the pictures, Shilpa wrote, “Happy Birthday, Mom! My biggest blessing, my greatest strength, my toughest critic, my best friend, teacher, guide and soulmate—my everything. Words can never truly express what you mean to me. Thank you for your unconditional love, blessings and unwavering support.”

She further added, “I pray that you are blessed with good health, peace and happiness, and that all your dreams come true because nothing makes me happier than seeing you smile. I love you always.”

On the work front, the 51-year-old actress was last seen in Sonal Joshi’s film ‘Sukhee’, where she played the lead role. The film also featured Amit Sadh, Dilnaz Irani, Kusha Kapila, and Pavleen Gujral in pivotal roles.

‘Sukhee’ revolves around the life of Sukhpreet “Sukhee” Kalra, a 38-year-old Punjabi housewife who feels trapped in her routine life. She travels to Delhi to attend her high school reunion and, over the course of seven days, rediscovers her teenage spirit, experiences new adventures, and returns with renewed energy and a stronger sense of self-identity.
