Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela has opened up about dealing with online trolling and misconceptions surrounding her public image. The actress said that she no longer feels the need to constantly explain herself to people and believes that time itself will reveal her true personality.
During a conversation with IANS, Urvashi spoke candidly about how people often misunderstand ambitious women, especially those who enjoy glamour and fashion.
She said that many people assume a glamorous woman cannot be serious, hardworking, or intelligent. According to Urvashi, she earlier felt pressured to prove that she was more than just a pretty face and that she was deeply focused and disciplined about her work.
However, the actress shared that her perspective has changed over time.
“You cannot spend your whole life trying to change people’s opinions,” Urvashi said. “Those who genuinely follow my journey and work eventually understand who I really am.”
The actress added that she now prefers focusing on her career rather than repeatedly defending herself against criticism. She believes that time is the biggest answer to misunderstandings and that it eventually reveals the truth about a person.
On the professional front, Urvashi Rautela will soon be seen in the second season of the web series Inspector Avinash alongside Randeep Hooda. The series is based on the life of Uttar Pradesh supercop Avinash Mishra and his fight against crime. The first season received a positive response from audiences.
Apart from this, Urvashi was recently seen in the film Daaku Maharaaj. Despite her film projects, she often remains in the spotlight because of her fashion choices, social media presence, and public statements.
