Delhi Capitals posted a massive total of 203/5 against Kolkata Knight Riders in the 70th match of Indian Premier League at Eden Gardens on Sunday.
Although both teams are already out of the playoff race, they are aiming to end their IPL 2026 campaign on a winning note.
After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, Delhi Capitals scored 203 runs for the loss of five wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
DC lost their first wicket at 4.3 overs when Abishek Porel departed after scoring 22 runs off 18 balls, including four boundaries.
Young batter Sahil Parakh then stitched together a quick 47-run partnership with KL Rahul for the second wicket. Sahil contributed 24 runs off 17 balls with three fours and a six before returning to the pavilion.
Captain Axar Patel joined Rahul and accelerated the innings further. The duo added 38 runs in just 19 balls for the third wicket, taking DC to 125.
KL Rahul played a brilliant knock of 60 runs off just 30 balls, smashing five fours and four sixes. After his dismissal, Axar Patel and David Miller added another valuable 41-run partnership.
David Miller scored 28 runs off 19 deliveries with the help of three sixes, while Ashutosh Sharma remained unbeaten on 18 runs off 11 balls.
For KKR, Saurabh Dubey picked up two wickets, while Anukul Roy, Sunil Narine, and Varun Chakaravarthy claimed one wicket each.
