In the 58th match of Indian Premier League 2026, Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) by six wickets on Thursday. PBKS batter Prabhsimran Singh impressed with a शानदार knock of 57 runs off 32 balls. With this half-century, he has entered the top-10 list in the Orange Cap race.
Prabhsimran has scored 439 runs in 12 matches so far this season at a strike rate of 170, moving to eighth position among the leading run-scorers. Heinrich Klaasen of Sunrisers Hyderabad continues to hold the Orange Cap with 508 runs. He is closely followed by Sai Sudharsan of Gujarat Titans, who has scored 501 runs in 12 matches.
Virat Kohli occupies the third spot with 484 runs in 12 matches at a strike rate of 165, while Abhishek Sharma of Sunrisers Hyderabad is fourth with 481 runs. KL Rahul, representing Delhi Capitals, is fifth with 477 runs. Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill stands sixth with 467 runs in 11 matches. Young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi is seventh with 440 runs in 11 matches.
In the bowling charts, the Purple Cap is currently held by Bhuvneshwar Kumar of Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who has taken 22 wickets in 12 matches this season. Kagiso Rabada of Gujarat Titans is second with 21 wickets. Anshul Kamboj of Chennai Super Kings holds third place with 19 wickets.
Prince Yadav of Lucknow Super Giants is fourth with 16 wickets in 11 matches. Rashid Khan is fifth with 16 wickets, while Kartik Tyagi of Kolkata Knight Riders is sixth with the same number of wickets.
