Actress Alaya F, who is always highly conscious about fitness, recently shared an interesting experience with her fans on social media. Alaya revealed that it took her as many as 150 attempts to perfectly perform a particular pose she had seen on Instagram.
Known for films like Jawaani Jaaneman and Freddy, Alaya posted a video clip on her Instagram account showing herself repeatedly trying to master the pose. She mentioned in the caption that during this exercise, the skin near her elbows got scraped, and she even started feeling nauseous multiple times. Despite this, she refused to give up and eventually succeeded.
Alaya clearly stated that she is not advising anyone to push their body beyond its physical limits. She wrote, “I’m not saying that you should keep pushing even when your body is completely exhausted. Every person is different, so it is always very important to listen to your body.”
Through this post, Alaya showcased her dedication and commitment to fitness. At the same time, she also shared an important message—that enthusiasm for fitness is great, but respecting your body’s limits is even more essential. She further added that her trainers call her by many names, but ‘stubborn’ is her favorite one. Thanking her teacher Sunpreet Singh, she wrote that he always ensures her determination never comes at the cost of her safety.
It is worth noting that in the video, Alaya is seen practicing inversion poses. These are postures in which the head is positioned below the heart, meaning the body is upside down or partially inverted. Examples include Sirsasana, Sarvangasana, Halasana, and Viparita Karani.
These poses offer several health benefits. They increase blood circulation to the brain, which can improve concentration and memory. They help reduce fatigue and calm the mind. They may nourish the hair and enhance skin glow. They also strengthen the digestive system while reducing stress and anxiety. However, these poses can be risky. Beginners should practice them only under the supervision of a trainer. Pregnant women and people with high blood pressure or neck problems should avoid attempting them without medical advice.
