Priya Dutt Shares Throwback Family Photos, Showcases Bond with Brother Sanjay and Father Sunil Dutt

Priya Dutt, sister of actor Sanjay Dutt, revisited cherished memories with her family on Friday by sharing a series of old photographs. Known for staying away from the limelight and actively engaging in politics, Priya took to social media to post nostalgic moments featuring her loved ones.

Priya shared the pictures on Instagram, where she was seen alongside her brother Sanjay Dutt and their father, veteran actor Sunil Dutt. Through her post, she remembered those who played a significant role in shaping her life.

In one of the photos, Sunil Dutt is seen seated at the center, surrounded by his family, including Sanjay. Other images feature Priya with close family members and acquaintances. In one candid moment, Sanjay is seen playfully holding Priya, reflecting their strong sibling bond.

Sharing the pictures, Priya wrote, “Over the years, life has gifted me many beautiful relationships.”

Reflecting on her journey, she added, “Some relationships are by birth, while others are formed along the way. Through the ups and downs of life, these people have given my life love, strength, belonging, and meaning.”

Expressing gratitude, she concluded, “I am deeply thankful to everyone who has made this journey so beautiful.”

For context, Sunil Dutt and Nargis had three children—Sanjay Dutt, Namrata Dutt, and Priya Dutt. Unlike her film-oriented family, Priya chose a different path in social service and politics. She graduated from Sophia College in Mumbai and later earned a diploma in television production from New York.

Priya entered politics after her father’s demise in 2004 and was elected Member of Parliament in 2009 for a second consecutive term. However, she lost the 2014 Lok Sabha elections to Poonam Mahajan of the BJP. She married Owen Roncon on November 27, 2003, and the couple has two children. Owen is associated with the entertainment business.
