Actress Shraddha Kapoor has officially wrapped up the shooting of Eetha, a biopic based on the life of legendary Tamasha artiste Vithabai Narayangaonkar.
Fittingly, the makers concluded the film with a grand musical sequence that captures the emotional and inspiring journey of Vithabai’s life. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film spans the period between the 1940s and 1990s and recently completed its final shoot schedule in Bhor, Maharashtra.
According to sources, the final sequence is a massive montage song featuring Shraddha Kapoor alongside nearly 800 performers and background artists. The song reportedly traces the evolution of her character — from a young dreamer to a celebrated performer, and eventually through the hardships and struggles she faced later in life.
The source further revealed that, like the film’s other musical numbers, the finale song has been choreographed by renowned choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant.
With the completion of this sequence on May 5, the film’s extensive 60-day shooting schedule officially came to an end. Filming for *Eetha* began in March and took place across several locations, including Madh Island in Mumbai, Solapur, Aundhewadi, Satara, Nashik, and Bhor in Maharashtra.
The biopic is expected to showcase the extraordinary life and cultural legacy of Vithabai Narayangaonkar, who remains one of the most respected names in Maharashtra’s traditional Tamasha folk theatre art form.
