Mumbai

Actress Deepika Padukone returned to Mumbai on Wednesday night after completing the overseas shooting schedule of her upcoming film King alongside Shah Rukh Khan.

The actress, who is currently expecting her second child, was spotted by paparazzi at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport as she exited the arrivals gate in a stylish yet comfortable airport outfit.

Deepika opted for an oversized denim shirt paired with matching baggy pants and added a vibrant touch to her look with bright yellow sneakers. Brown sunglasses, a classic handbag, and neatly tied-back hair completed her casual airport appearance.

Last month, Deepika was seen leaving Mumbai for the international shooting schedule of King, accompanied by her husband Ranveer Singh.

During the overseas schedule, reports suggested that Ranveer Singh stayed busy taking care of their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh. Recently, leaked pictures from the sets of King featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone went viral online, with fans also spotting Ranveer carrying baby Dua in the background.

Deepika and Ranveer Expecting Their Second Child

In April, on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, Deepika and Ranveer announced that they are expecting their second child. The couple shared the news through a heartwarming social media post featuring their daughter Dua holding a positive pregnancy test kit, captioned simply with two evil-eye emojis.

Fans and celebrities flooded social media with congratulatory messages following the announcement.

Busy Professional Line-Up

Despite her pregnancy, Deepika Padukone continues to maintain a packed work schedule. The actress currently has two major projects in her pipeline — King and Raaka.

According to industry reports, Deepika has already started shooting for Raaka, director Atlee’s upcoming pan-India action film starring Allu Arjun. Reports also suggest that she has been filming action sequences while following all necessary precautions.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, King marks Deepika’s sixth collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan. The film also features Rani Mukerji, Suhana Khan, Jackie Shroff, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Saurabh Shukla, and Raghav Juyal in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, Raaka will mark Deepika’s first on-screen collaboration with Allu Arjun and her second project with director Atlee after the blockbuster film Jawan.
