Responding to the report during a weekly press briefing, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that the findings were part of the 37th report of the UN Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team, which was made public on February 4, 2026.

Jaiswal stated, “We have noted that the UN Monitoring Team has taken serious cognizance of India’s concerns and inputs regarding cross-border terrorism and the need to strengthen the global fight against terrorism.”
