A shocking incident has emerged from Kasganj district in Uttar Pradesh, where five members of the same family were found dead under suspicious circumstances, triggering panic in the area. The exact cause and sequence of the deaths remain unclear.
The incident occurred in the Amnagar locality near Etah Road in Kasganj. Upon receiving information, Superintendent of Police Ankita Sharma reached the spot along with a heavy police force.
The deceased have been identified as 50-year-old Shyamveer alias Fauji, his 45-year-old wife Ramshree Devi, and their three children — 12-year-old Prachi, 8-year-old Akanksha, and 5-year-old Girish Kumar.
According to officials, Shyamveer operated a welding shop and was a resident of Nagla Bhojraj. The bodies were discovered near a petrol pump in the Amnagar area.
SP Ankita Sharma stated that preliminary investigation suggests the incident may have been carried out by Shyamveer, who allegedly took his own life afterward. However, the exact cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
All five bodies have been sent for postmortem examination. A forensic team and dog squad are assisting in the investigation. Police officials said further details will emerge after the postmortem report is received.
The incident has created an atmosphere of shock in the locality. Authorities have assured that a thorough investigation is underway and the circumstances surrounding the deaths will be clarified soon.
