Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma Visit Keli Kunj Ashram, Seek Blessings from Premanand Maharaj

Indian cricketer Virat Kohli visited the Keli Kunj Ashram along with his wife Anushka Sharma on Tuesday to seek blessings from spiritual guru Premanand Maharaj.

The couple arrived at the ashram at around 5:30 a.m. and spent nearly an hour there. A video shared on the ashram’s YouTube channel Bhajan Marg shows Virat and Anushka sitting quietly among other devotees in the ashram hall. During the visit, they listened to Premanand Maharaj’s spiritual discourse and participated in devotional kirtan.

This was not the first time the couple visited Vrindavan for spiritual guidance. Virat and Anushka have visited Premanand Maharaj several times in the past. During their previous visit, they discussed topics related to the true purpose of life and the spiritual journey of devotion as guided by the guru.

Over the past few years, the couple’s inclination toward spirituality has become increasingly evident. In 2023, the duo visited several religious places, including the Mahakaleshwar Temple and the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram.

At present, Team India is busy with preparations for the T20 World Cup 2026. Kohli has already retired from the T20 format and Test cricket. He is set to return to competitive action next month in the Indian Premier League, where he will represent Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Notably, this will be the first time in IPL history that RCB will enter the tournament as defending champions. All eyes will be on Kohli when RCB take the field in their opening match of the season.

Kohli is also expected to rejoin the Indian team in July for an ODI series in England, starting July 14. He was in excellent form during the recent ODI series against New Zealand, scoring 240 runs in three matches. Fans will hope that he continues this form on the England tour.

Kohli currently stands second on the list of players with the most international centuries, having scored 85 hundreds so far. Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar tops the list with 100 international centuries.
