A Vision for Integrated Healthcare
Speaking to IANS, Prof. Prajapati expressed his gratitude toward Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. He emphasized that the budget’s focus on medicine quality and medical tourism is a timely intervention.
“The approval of three new All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and dedicated Ayurveda institutions will drastically improve both the quality and accessibility of treatment across the nation,” Prof. Prajapati stated.
Boosting Medical Tourism and Scientific Research
India has become a global hub for diverse medical systems, including Modern Medicine, Unani, Ayurveda, and Homeopathy. The Director noted that:
The budget provides a framework to support international patients seeking holistic healing.
Ayurvedic and Homeopathic treatments are increasingly backed by rigorous scientific research.
Special provisions have been made for treatments that integrate the body, soul, and mental well-being.
